Bernie Sanders Wins New Hampshire Primary

The people of New Hampshire said
Bernie Sanders would win and he did

The great people of “The Granite State” said that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) would win the New Hampshire Primary and he did with 25.9% of the vote which got him 9 delegates.

From February 6th to February 9th, CNN and the University of New Hampshire conducted a poll of New Hampshire voters. One of the poll questions asked the New Hampshire voters which “Candidate Most Likely to Win the New Hampshire Primary?”

Almost 60% of the voters placed their betting chips on Bernie Sanders compared to 10% of the voters who chose former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who got 24.4% of the votes and 9 delegates last night, as the one to place their Friday checks on.

As for former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA, well, not too many people placed anything in their pots because only 6% of the voters thought they had a shot at winning the New Hampshire primary.

Now, I must say that although Sen. Amy Klobuchar was up under the bottom with the rest of the other candidates, she did manage to swing herself a third place spot which got her 6 delegates last night.

And you know what they say, “Something is always better than nothing,” which is what Biden, Warren, and the rest of that crew got last night. Elizabeth Warren, Andrew Yang, who suspended his campaign, and everybody else were cool about it and just picked up and kept going.

Joe Biden, however, decided that he’d be a “Mean Girl” about his loss in New Hampshire. I mean, Biden was so mad about zero being his number that he left all of his supporters in New Hampshire hanging dry while he hopped on a plane to “The Palmetto State” in order to get himself some confidence juice.

With the way humans are, I wouldn’t be surprise if a lot of folks in South Carolina aren’t looking at Biden and saying to themselves, “I ain’t voting for nobody who throws a fit at folks whenever things don’t go his way.”

The folks in South Carolina are looking at the early states. And like they did in 2008 with then Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) who pulled out a win in Iowa and in South Carolina, the folks in South Carolina may look at Bernie Sanders or some of the other candidates and decide to place their bets on them instead of the dude who’s been losing presidential elections since the 80s.

It sucks for Biden! But hey, he’s the one with the attitude problem. Sanders, Buttigieg, Klobuchar, and the rest of the folks who are still in the race are behaving like adults.

The one thing that can be taken from the people of New Hampshire correctly predicting the winner of the state’s primary is that it’s best to listen to the people of the states, and not the pundits because it is the people who know their states and what the people want.
