I think Jared Kushner's lawyer is trying to get
him a sweet deal in order to keep him out of jail
by Nathan'ette Burdine: November 25, 2017 Updated-Nov. 26, 2017

I think Jared Kushner’s lawyer Abbe Lowell is trying to get him one of those sweet deals George Papadopoulos got with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Last week during a quick chit-chat with CNN’s Evan Perez, Abbe Lowell dropped little hints about what he and his client really think about where the Russia investigation is headed.

And let Lowell tell it, the Russia investigation is headed towards a highway to hell for those in Trump’s crew who did wrong.

I say all of this because of the one little comment Lowell made about Kushner’s role in this whole Russian mess folks in the Trump campaign brought upon themselves.

Lowell told Perez, “If you look at the contents of these emails, he’s (Jared Kushner) the hero. He’s the one who’s saying there shouldn’t be any contact with foreign officials or foreign entities.”

Y’all read it right. Kushner’s lawyer says Kushner is the hero in the Russia investigation because he warned folks about talking to foreign governments.

Attorney Abbe Lowell’s comment about his client Jared Kushner being the “hero” in this is evidence that Lowell and Kushner know that talking to foreign governments about the United States’ business is bad and that they know of someone and/or several folks in the Trump campaign who did the really “bad” thing of talking to a foreign government.

In this case, the foreign government is Russia. And it is increasingly looking as if Russia used some of its representatives in order to hook their talons into the Trump campaign.

Some of the folks the Russians have allegedly used in order to place their hooks into the Trump campaign are Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, entertainment promoter Rob Goldstone, Russian businessman Irakly “Ike” Kaveladze, and Russian-American lobbyist Rinat Akhmetsin.

All of these folks, of course, deny being agents for the Russian government. They say they’re just normal folks trying to make an honest living.

This would be believable if Rob Goldstone didn’t set up the June 9, 2016, meeting at Trump Tower with Natalia Veselnitskaya, Irakly “Ike” Kaveladze, Rinat Akhmetsin, Jared Kushner, Kushner’s brother-in-law Don Jr, and former campaign chairman/recently indicted fella Paul Manafort in order to provide “dirt” on then Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton.

Here is Goldstone’s email to Trump Jr., via NBC News, “the Crown prosecutor of Russia…offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.”

Before I go on, I must say that NBC News pointed out that Russia doesn’t have a “Crown prosecutor” but the country does have a prosecutor general.

The fact that Goldstone got wrong the title of a high ranking legal official in Russia would’ve sent up red flags to folks who are not amateurs in politics.

The folks over there in the Trump campaign saw Goldstone’s email about Clinton as good stuff right there.

Trump’s crew loved what Goldstone was selling so that Donald Trump’s offspring and namesake responded back to Goldstone.

NBC News quoted Don Jr., as saying to Goldstone, “if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”

I don’t know about y’all but the one thing I do know is that everyday folks don’t have access to the email accounts of high ranking officials within another country’s presidential campaign to the point that they can set up a meeting and talk about the “dirt” they have on the opposing campaign’s opponent.

Plus, a person must ask how is it that normal folks are able to get their hands on “dirt” about another country’s presidential candidate if they don’t have access to folks within their own government who have access to that information?

Hell, normal folks can barely get their local government officials to come and enforce the laws in order to stop their neighbors from leaving their trash all over the place.

And I know if a normal citizen has trouble getting the code enforcer out to his house, he damn sho’ is going to have trouble trying to get “dirt” on a presidential nominee.

If he even thought about gathering such info on the potential next president of his country, he’ll find himself buried in the dirt up under the jailhouse.

I know Veselnitskaya and Goldstone want folks to believe they are doing what everyday folks do.

However, the evidence is in the pudding. And right now, they’re looking like anything but normal everyday people.

The one thing ol’ Kushner got going for him is that his lawyer is good at getting his high profile clients off.

Lowell has helped such folks as rapper Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, former 2004 Vice Presidential Nominee John Edwards (D-NC), and Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) who lucked up this week and got himself a hung jury in his federal corruption trial.

Lowell knows how this game is played and what he needs to do to save his client’s hide.

Hell, he’s the one who instructed Kushner to go out there during that press conference he had back in July of this year and tell everybody he didn’t lay down with any Russians.

As y’all know, this was around the same time that Don Jr., got caught in a lie about his communications with the Russians.

The New York Times posted the article talking about Junior’s Russians connections.

Junior denied it and then less than 24 hours later Junior went on the Twitter and posted his communication with Goldstone that he told folks didn’t exist.

Lowell, who had just joined Kushner’s team, looked at all of that and was like, “My client’s in some hot shit.”

So in order to get his client out of the hot shit, Lowell had ol’ Kushner there to go out and tell folks he didn’t know anything about those shady Russians and that meeting his brother-in-law had set up.

CNN quoted ol’ Kushner as saying, “That email was on top of a long back and forth that I did not read at the time. As I did with most emails when I was working remotely, I quickly reviewed on my iPhone the relevant message that the meeting would occur at 4:00 PM.”

Here, Kushner is simply saying he had nothing to do with that shit there. All he did was show up, nothing else.

Welp, now former Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort is indicted, former campaign adviser George Papadopoulos has flipped, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and his offspring’s asses are in the fire, and Robert Mueller wants to know about that letter Donald Trump Sr., helped Don Jr., to write about his meeting with Rob Goldstone and those shady Russians.

Lowell sees all of this and knows that he has to work extra hard in order to keep his client’s ass out of the fire.

So Lowell did the only thing he can do which is to go to the media. And the media that Lowell decided to drop a hint of a dime to was none other than Kushner’s father-in-law’s arch nemesis, CNN.

Lowell let CNN’s Perez know that his client isn’t boo boo the fool and Kushner knew that talking to those Russians wasn’t cool.

Here it is again, “If you look at the contents of these emails, he’s (Jared Kushner) the hero. He’s the one who’s saying there shouldn’t be any contact with foreign officials or foreign entities.”

Abbe Lowell knows how to play this game and the only card he has to play is to position his client so that he can get a sweet deal with Robert Mueller.

Unlike George Papadopoulos, Jared Kushner knows everything about his father-in-law, President Donald Trump Sr.

And Abbe Lowell will use all that Jared Kushner knows about Donald J. Trump Sr., in order to add another win to his (Abbe Lowell) belt.

Kushner won’t fight Lowell on it. Sure, he’s married to ol’ Donald’s daughter, Ivanka Trump. But, Jared Kushner is like all human beings in that he is self-preserving and he will do all he can in order to save himself.

The first sign that Kushner will nail Trump's ass under the bus was when he came out back in July of this year telling folks what he did and didn’t know about those emails Don Jr. and Goldstone sent to each other.

A person like that is doing all of that talking because he’s trying to clear himself. He doesn’t want folks looking at him sideways and the best way to not get those “him over there” looks is to just tell everything.

And oh boy, Kushner is going to tell everything about his pappy-in-law who said, “I believe Putin when he said Russia didn’t meddle in our election.”

Yep, that’s a big difference from Jared Kushner’s lawyer Abbe Lowell who told CNN’s Evan Perez that Russians meddling in the U.S. election is a big issue.

Mm-hmm, somebody named Jared is about to get himself some freedom papers.
